Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association Welcomes Noralee Townsend as New Membership & Communications Director

LITTLE ROCK, AR (May 15, 2024) – The Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Noralee Townsend as the new Membership & Communications Director. Noralee joins the ACA with a robust agricultural communications and leadership background, poised to enhance member engagement and organizational outreach.

“I’m incredibly excited to meet and interact with the ACA members,” said Townsend. “They’re the best in the industry.”

Noralee recently graduated from the University of Arkansas, earning double degrees in Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Leadership and minors in Event Management and Agricultural Business. Her journey with ACA began in 2022 when she served as an intern and discovered her passion for the members and the association's mission.

Her extracurricular activities further highlight her leadership skills. Noralee served as President of the University of Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association, Vice President of the Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow, and held significant roles in the Collegiate Farm Bureau and Collegiate 4-H clubs. These experiences demonstrate her ability to manage, organize, and communicate effectively.

“Noralee is going to be an outstanding addition to the ACA team,” said Michelle Bufkin Horton, executive vice president of ACA. “She went above and beyond as our intern a few years ago serving our members and we’re excited to see her continue that in her role.”

Growing up on a cattle operation in Rose Bud, Arkansas, Noralee’s roots in the agricultural community run deep. Her firsthand experience and passion for the industry will undoubtedly contribute to her success in her new role at ACA.
